Residential Electronics Recycling Event

We will be holding a FREE Electronics Collection drop-off every Saturday in September and October 2021, beginning Saturday, September 4, 2021 through Saturday, October 30, 2021 at the Farmer's Market, across the street from City Hall. The events will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. If you belong to a group or community organization that would like to volunteer at one or more drop-off events, please contact Lindsey Rivers at 860-584-6125. 

The Public Works Department also has a collection box for cell phones to be recycled. We are located at 111 North Main Street, on the Ground Floor. You may drop off cell phones during regular business hours: Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. during the summer (Memorial Day through Labor Day).
