10 Year Capital Improvement Plan
The Capital Budget represents the first year of the Capital Improvement Plan. The primary difference between the Capital Budget and Capital Improvement Plan is that the Capital Budget is a legal document that authorizes specific projects during the ensuing fiscal year. The Capital Improvement Plan, on the other hand, includes the first-year projects as well as future projects for which financing has not been secured or legally authorized. The “out-years” of the Capital Improvement Plan are not binding and are therefore subject to change.
