"To protect and serve the community with integrity and professionalism"


Welcome to the Bristol Police Department website. The City of Bristol has a population of approximately 65,000 people and covers over 27 square miles. The police department consists of 121 sworn police officers and 25 civilian personnel. The department has been serving the community since 1893.

State accreditation is a process through which law enforcement agencies demonstrate excellence in management and service delivery by complying with state accreditation standards.
