Mayor's Youth Cabinet
Mayor Zoppo-Sassu created the Mayor's Youth Cabinet shortly after she took office in November, 2017. The purpose of the Mayor's Youth Cabinet is to connect young people with their government and also allow them to have input on issues that affect them.

The Mayor's Youth Cabinet meetings are recorded and broadcast via Nutmeg TV as follows:
Comcast Channel 5 and 1070, Frontier channel 6060 (Public Channel)
· Wednesdays – 7 PM and Fridays – 9:30 AM
· Half hour prior to the City Council meetings on Tuesdays on Comcast Channel 96 and 1084 or Frontier Channel 6062 at approx. 2:30AM, 5:30AM, 8:30AM, 11:30AM, 2:30PM, 5:30PM, 8:30PM, and 11:30PM
· Half hour prior to the Board of Education meetings on Wednesdays on Comcast Channel 95 and 1090 or Frontier Channel 6061 at approx. 2:30AM, 5:30AM, 8:30AM, 11:30AM, 2:30PM, and 5:30PM

Bristol's young people, ages 10-18, are invited to be part of the Mayor's Youth Cabinet. The Youth Cabinet meetings are held each month before the City Council Meeting. There are different topics each month, and some guests speakers. The meetings are 45 minutes in length, and members can opt to stay for a part of the City Council meeting which begins at 7pm. This is not a series. Young people are free to attend any or all as their schedules allow.
