The Patrol Division is the largest division within the police department and is headed by the patrol captain. Approximately 95 officers are supervised by the Captain, including lieutenants, sergeants and patrol officers. This division is fully staffed around the clock. With the warm weather approaching, it signals the official start of the summer driving season. The Bristol Police Department Traffic Division reminds drivers to slow down, buckle up, and avoid using electronic devices.
